Our in stock memorials include headstones already available and ready for inscription, in a choice of materials, colours and shapes. Many can be viewed at our Gainsborough showroom before you decide. As the stone has already been made, fitting can usually be arranged quicker.

Because the headstone is already in stock, we can move to planning the inscription once you have chosen it. This removes the lead time normally needed to order the stone, while the lettering, burial ground permission and fitting are arranged in the usual way.

Where a memorial is displayed at our showroom, seeing it in person gives you a clearer sense of its proportions, colour and finish. You can look at the natural markings, compare the surface and consider how your inscription may sit on the stone.

In Stock Memorials

Choosing an in stock memorial means the stone itself is already complete apart from the lettering and agreed decorative work. Some are displayed in our Gainsborough showroom, while others are held in stock. The selection includes shapes, materials, colours and finishes, allowing you to choose from memorials available now. Where a stone is on display, you can see its proportions and natural markings before deciding. As stock changes, we can confirm availability and arrange a viewing where possible.

The shorter lead time comes from having the stone itself available from the outset; the inscription, permission and fitting must still be arranged. We will check the burial ground requirements and prepare a lettering layout, allowing you to review the wording and placement before engraving begins. Once the design is approved and permission is in place, we will prepare the memorial and arrange fitting. We will explain the timescale before you proceed, including anything affecting the installation date.

Every memorial shown below forms part of our current stock and can be personalised with your chosen inscription. Look at the shape and lettering area first, particularly if you have a longer inscription or may need space for another name later. The material and colour will also influence the lettering styles and decorative details that work well, and we can help you bring those elements together once you have chosen a stone.

If one of the memorials catches your eye, note its reference and contact us to confirm availability or arrange a viewing. We can then discuss the inscription, check that the stone is suitable for the grave and provide a quotation for the lettering and fitting. If the current stock does not include what you are looking for, we can discuss a made to order memorial or try to source a design from a photograph.
